ALN Programme
Our ALN Programme is a series of live and recorded webinars and workshops aimed at ALN Students, support networks and educators. Guest speakers regularly deliver current and relevant information around community, employment, leisure, education and support services.
Changing Cultures Brokerage
You are a not-for-profit organisation that is looking for sponsorship or partnership but you have limited networks and you are unsure where to start. We will work with you to identify your financial and charitable goals, then we will work in your local area to promote you and find partners and sponsors who are like-minded and begin to connect you so that you can start to work together.
You are a local business and you want to support local community projects or charitable causes. We will work with you to identify your social impact goals and then go out to your local area and find organisations and activities that you can align your brand with and then connect you so that you can start to work together.
GBWR Europeans Business Legacy Partnership
Our Welsh capital is set to host the UK's first-ever World Wheelchair Rugby European Championships in May 2023. The city was chosen after Great Britain was awarded the hosting rights for the competition. It was the GB wheelchair rugby team that claimed a historic gold medal in the delayed 2020 Tokyo Paralympics this summer. We are honoured to be part of the team ensuring that such an occasion delivers a legacy for business and the community.
Over the coming twelve months and beyond, we will be working with businesses and community organisations across the region to ensure that first and foremost, the city is ready and accessible but also to ensure a programme of events and projects are delivered to bring value to the people who live in, work in and visit the region. Menopause Conference 2022
On October 18th we will be holding a menopause conference in Cardiff (and a hybrid link for online) to raise awareness on World Menopause Day. In recent months menopause has been at the fore media and political conversation. During this one day event we will have guest speakers who will share insight on health, medicine, wellbeing, clothing and fashion. Further details will be announced very soon
RBKC Employability Roadshow
The ANI group, in partnership with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Central and North West London NHS, are hosting a free employability roadshow at The Great Hall, Kensington Town Hall in May. There will be 40 stands with local and national businesses varying from support agencies and employers. As an attendee, visitors will have the opportunity to network with businesses directly to gain valuable advice, information, resources and support surrounding employment as a candidate with a disability or long term health condition.
This is the start of what we hope to be a fantastic partnership between the health board, the local government and the business community. We are facilitating and supporting activities to grow the wider economy and get people into meaningful and supported employment
Tilbury Douglas Partnership
In partnership with Tilbury Douglas we are working on a long term programme to ensure that their staff are fully supported within the organisation when they identify as living with disabilities or long term health conditions. We are working to develop their internal disability network and make it a sustainable and vital part of their inclusion work as a company.
We are also working to build and deliver social value projects that have meaningful impact. We are supporting services to families facing baby loss in partnership with our charitable foundation and cradle. We are developing a consortium across the construction industry that considers accessibility from concept to creation. We are facilitating fundraising activities for great community programmes in the areas they are currently working as well as underpinning their mentoring and knowledge transfer programme.
