As part of the ongoing Abergavenny Immersive Project, Gwagle Shared Workspace was captured in 3D to enhance the town's digital twin and provide a comprehensive, accessible representation of local businesses. Gwagle is a collaborative workspace that fosters innovation and community growth, making it a perfect addition to the immersive model. The capture of Gwagle adds a modern, dynamic element to the town's digital presence, showcasing how businesses in Abergavenny are evolving in response to modern work trends.

The primary goal was to integrate Gwagle into the Abergavenny digital twin, strengthening the project's mission of creating an accessible, interactive platform for both visitors and locals. By capturing Gwagle, we aimed to:

  • Showcase a key local business hub that contributes to Abergavenny’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.

  • Offer potential clients a virtual tour of the shared workspace, highlighting the modern amenities and flexible workspaces available.

  • Strengthen the representation of Abergavenny as a forward-thinking, business-friendly town, ready to embrace digital solutions.

Methodology:​

Using advanced 3D scanning and Matterport technology, we captured the entire Gwagle space, from meeting rooms to collaborative areas. The immersive model allows users to virtually navigate the workspace, offering an inside look at its design and function. As with other businesses captured in the project, Gwagle’s virtual presence was seamlessly integrated into the broader Abergavenny digital twin, linked to the main website for easy access by visitors and residents alike.​
