Monnow Valley Recording Studio, once the creative birthplace for multi-platinum albums by Oasis, Stereophonics, and Black Sabbath, has now been repurposed as an Airbnb. The space, which once vibrated with the energy of music history, now offers the opportunity for recording via a dry hire arrangement, allowing new creators to make their mark.
Inside, you'll find a handful of instruments and artwork—a tribute to the studio’s legendary past. But the true power of this transformation lies in what was captured back in 2017. We had the privilege of creating a digital twin of Monnow Valley as a residential recording studio, preserving its essence in an innovative way. What once served as a marketing tool now stands as a digital archive, an immersive record that keeps the memories alive and connects us to the past.
The beauty of digital twins is that they offer an unparalleled way to preserve history and create lasting connections with iconic spaces, even as they evolve. What was once a bustling studio can now be relived and experienced through the power of immersive technology—an innovative digital record that ensures the legacy of Monnow Valley Recording Studio will never fade.
